Mission

Bolventura is an eco-housing group based in West Cornwall.

Bolventura aims to inspire and connect people with each other and the environment through the creation of affordable and sustainable low-impact communal living.

BOLVENTURA’S OBJECTIVES:

• To create a low impact, environmentally responsible collaborative community which will promote and deliver of activities which increase the sustainability of the environment.

• To provide or assist in the provision of housing for people in necessitous circumstances, predominantly for local residents living, working or studying in Penwith or a neighbouring or adjoining area or elsewhere in the region.

• Bolventura will be a community-led organisation that aims to contribute to the regeneration of the local community, and therefore will be concerned with the economic, social, environmental and cultural needs of our community.

• We will be independent but will seek to work in partnership with other private, public and voluntary sector organisations.

• We will be controlled and managed by the members.

• We aim to generate income through trading activity, rents and investment as well as grant support. All trading surpluses will be reinvested in the organisation or community.
